Natasha Denona is one of the most respected makeup artists in the industry, and the release of her cosmetics line was met with rave reviews. With the line’s highly-anticipated launch on Beautylish.com this week, the popularity is only growing. Her eyeshadows – from the quality to the color selection – are the best of the best. The only downside is that her products are undeniably expensive (though it’s worth noting Beautylish offers payment plans to make the purchase a bit easier on your wallet). Keep reading to check out different looks and swatches of the eyeshadows, and decide if it’s worth the splurge!
Natasha Denona’s neutral, more subtle shades are just as beautiful as the louder ones. Megan Lombardi created a classic, soft smoky using shade #13, Raw Gold. If there’s one color that you can’t get out of your head, investing $27 in a single shadow is a more affordable way to get your Denona fix.
Natasha Denona’s incredible shadows deserve to be paired with an equally jaw-dropping bold lip. Obsessed with this monochromatic, daring look by @DepecheGurl. She used Natasha Denona shadows, probably from the Purple Blue palette, on her eyes and Wolfsbane and Petty Liquid Mattes by Aboni Cosmetics on her lips.
@NikkieTutorials’ looks are consistently flawless, but this one in particular, inspired by Beyonce, is on another level. The shimmery shadow is Natasha Denona’s Antique Olive, and it is magnetic. It has a duo-chrome finish, so it will look different depending on the way light hits it. I honestly cannot take my eyes off of how beautiful it is. These shadows are just perfection.
This graphic eye by @ArabiianDoll is creative, bold and endlessly elevated by Natasha Denona’s high-quality shadows. She used shadows from the 01 and 09 Palettes, and went over it with Violet Voss’ NYE Glitter for an extra pop.
This eye look by @MakeupByAn is a fairly classic smoky: light and sparkly on the lid, smoked out wing. She used the Cream and Moonstone shades from the 28 Palette. Even the most neutral shades are special – you can just tell that the quality is a step above.
This look by Keita Moore liquid silver – the metallic is so unbelievable! He used Natasha Denona’s 03 Palette for the look. At $48, these 5-shadow palettes are the best bang for your buck. It’s definitely a splurge, but if you find one that has five shades you completely love and would use, consider it a beauty investment!
Love when Jaclyn Hill goes crazy with color! This look is so detailed and intricate – not the double cut crease, the major glitter… Everything about this is fresh and fun. She used the single shadow 45M Industrial for her sparkly eyelids.
Before the debut of her eponymous line, Natasha Denona was a world-renowned makeup artist. It’s no surprise, then, that the Natasha Denona Instagram feed is full of unique, editorial looks. This bright blue smoky eye is out-of-this-world.
Kathleen Lights included Natasha Denona’s 09 Palette in her monthly favorites video. Beginning at thirty seconds, Kathleen shares her honest opinion and swatches. She calls it ‘hands down the best eyeshadows she’s used in her entire life.’ That is quite the endorsement. Check it out, above!
Here are some editorial shots from Natasha Denona’s Holiday Lookbook. These shadows are so multi-dimensional and unique – there’s truly nothing quite like it. Every angle, every photo offers more depth to the shadows. Every single shadow is on my wish list.
These swatches by @BeautyBreeze_SV had to be shared. The thing that sets Natasha Denona shadows apart is the unbelievable pigmenation. Those brights and metallics are absolutely unreal. These four photos show all of the shadows in the two 28-pan palettes. The top two pictures are of the Green Brown palette, while the latter are of the Purple Blue.
