Now that Girls Gone Wild has gone bankrupt, find some new ways to have fun on Spring Break. Here are the 10 Dos and Don’ts for your tropical vacation.
DO drink lots of water. Make sure it’s bottled, and not local, though… Everyone remembers that scene from the first Sex and the City movie, right?! Poor Charlotte…
DON’T forget about sunscreen. The higher the SPF, the better. Everyone knows the long-term benefits of sun protection, but also keep in mind, in the short term, you don’t want to end up stuck in your hotel room for half the trip with third degree burns.
DO try something adventurous and new. From parasailing to jet skiing to swimming with dolphins, a vacation is the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone.
DON’T lose anything important! Always keep an eye on your wallet, ID, phone and camera. Not only do you need your ID for getting back home, but you won’t be able to get into any clubs without it (that got your attention, didn’t it?).
DO go bold with your makeup. Be it bright pink lips or thick cat eyes, makeup will look even better than usual with your glowing tan…great time to experiment with your beauty looks!
DON’T drink to the point of blacking out. Yes, spring break is the time to let loose and party, but hangovers are not.
DO moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Even the darkest of tans won’t look good if it’s dry and flaky. Make sure to moisturize the second you get out of the sun every evening. It will ensure a longer lasting, more radiant glow.
DON’T go anywhere alone. Leaving your friends for a random hook-up might seem like fun at 3 AM, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
DO rock a stylish and easy ponytail. In the sweltering heat, everyone wants to look as cool and comfortable as possible. Keep your hair up and out of your face for a majorly relaxed and cute vibe. It’s also prime time to wear a glam floppy hat or headband.
DON’T forget to have fun! You deserve a break, so use this week to have have the best time with friends and make long-lasting memories.
