Spring Lipsticks 2015

This spring, all of the best beauty brands have stepped up their game with innovative, gorgeous new lippies. Liquid, creamy or glossy, there’s something for every style and occasion. Read on for our favorite new lip products, ranging from drugstore to indie to luxury, and find your perfect match!

Urban Decay Sheer Revolution

Urban Decay Sheer Revolution: UD’s creamy, long-lasting Revolution lipsticks have become an instant classic, so you can imagine how excited I was to see that they’re released a sheer line of the lippies. Super creamy like the originals, they go on sheer and shiny. You can build it up depending on how intense you want the look to be. Streak is the most beautiful mix of coral and pink. It will give you that ‘just bitten’ look.

NYX High Voltage Stone

NYX High Voltage Lipstick: It’s truly impressive that NYX is consistently coming out with new, innovative lipstick lines: Soft Matte Lip Cream, Macaron Lippies, Intense Butter Gloss…the list goes on and on. There new range, High Voltage Lipstick, lives up to its predecessors. Available in 22 shades, there’s a color for everyone. I’m currently obsessed with Stone, a hybrid grayish-beige that is the ultimate nude.

ColourPop Pastel Punch

ColourPop Pastels: ColourPop has quickly become one of my top beauty brands. From the price to the quality to the creative colors, it’s just incredible. They just launched a new line for spring called Pastel Punch. My personal favorite? Westie, an extremely wearable dusty, matte baby pink. It’s the perfect everyday color.

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick: Jeffree Star’s liquid lippies have been blowing up our Instagram feed recently, and with good reason! These gorgeous liquid lipsticks go on opaque, dry to a matte finish and last for hours. These lippies don’t mess around. They’re so popular that many of the shades are sold out (I need Celebrity Skin in my life!), but you can still get your hands on Queen Supreme, a neon pastel pink that’s made for the warmer spring days!

Too Faced Melted Metal

Too Faced Melted Metal: The ‘90s are back in full force, so it should come as no surprise that Too Faced has launched a line of frosted, ‘metallic’ liquid lipsticks. Don’t let the word metallic throw you off…these lippies are gorgeous! Fun and innovative, it’s unlike anything else you probably have in your collection. Metallic Macaron is a stunning pink with a hint of sparkle.

Chanel Rouge Coco

Chanel Rouge Coco: Chanel has reformulated their classic lipstick for 2015, making it even more hydrating, long-lasting and radiant. It comes in a whopping 29 new shades, and each one is lovingly named after a friend/muse/love of the legendary Mademoiselle Coco. Roussy is a punchy, bright pink that screams spring.

MAC Candy Yum Yum

MAC Lipstick: I feel like every time I try to get my hands on one of MAC’s limited edition lipsticks, they’re sold out. It’s okay, though, because there’s such an abundance of pretty bright colors from their permanent line to choose from. Some of my picks for spring: Candy Yum Yum (neon pink), Tangerine Dream (warm orange) and Vegas Volt (pure coral).

Motives All Day Liquid Stick

Motives All Day Liquid Stick: Is it too early to call 2015 the year of the liquid lipstick?! It seems like every hot brand is releasing a range of these long-lasting lippies. Motives is the latest, with their All Day collection of shiny, full coverage liquid lipsticks. With the shine of a gloss and the intense color of a lipstick, I adore these. Hi-Voltage is the perfect hot pink.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme: Marc Jacobs’ velvety new line of lipsticks applies like a dream. It seriously goes on like butter. Intensely pigmented and extremely long-lasting, it’s a must-have. So Sofia (named after his muse Sofia Coppola) is the most gorgeous watermelon shade. For something a little more subtle, try Georgie Girl, a cotton candy pink.

Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick

Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick: Milani is one of the most underrated drugstore brands out there. Their Baked Blushes are legendary, and the Color Statement Lipsticks truly hold their own compared to pricier alternatives. Richly colored, easy to apply and creamy, for around five dollars, you get your money’s worth with the Color Statement line. Their new Moisture Matte line does the impossible: gives you comfortably matte lips that last for hours. If you like orange (my favorite for spring), try the beautiful Matte Passion.
